Motion

Why Motion?

Purely looking at the kinematics and checking for interference is not enough for complex mechanical systems.  Engineers should be evaluating induced forces, velocities, acceleration and torques related to these systems.

Simcenter 3D Motion enables just this from any CAD system and apply the constraints.  This is coupled with very strong post-processing capabilities to evaluate and educate team members on the impact.

Types of motion analyses covered include:

  • Co-simulation with control systems

  • Flexible bodies

  • Rigid bodies

  • Interference checks

Better understand how your product in motion works.
