Brian Vince, CEO / Partner
At age 17, Brian started as a plant rat as a co-op student for Rockwell Automotive, now Meritor, before heading to GMI Engineering & Management Institute, now Kettering University. In his 25 years of industry experience since, he has held positions that ranged from engineering, quality, operations, services delivery, business development, marketing and sales. Brian has interfaced with the largest Fortune 500 clients to small and medium sized business to startups across all continents.
His experience has provided a unique perspective of the challenges of delivering new products to market that can be manufactured and delivered profitably in today’s global marketplace.
With the rapid change of technology, Brian recognizes a tremendous opportunity to improve engineering and manufacturing processes and in turn the performance of the products created by 10% - 50%. This is possible by thinking differently with clients, using a consultative approach, and applying Digital Engineering tools and new manufacturing technologies. Challenging the status quo is what drives him daily.
Brian holds an MBA from the Ross School of Business, University of Michigan, Ann Arbor and a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Kettering University. Brian along with his wife and two children reside in Rochester, MI.
Outside of XPERIX, Brian can likely be found on the golf course working to improve his nemesis, putting.
Kevin Hill, COO / Partner
With 20+ years of experience on 3 different continents, Kevin has been leading global PLM initiatives for large and small companies across many different industries. Throughout his career, he’s been a Plant worker, Quality Engineer, Dimensional Engineer, Project Manager, Solution Architect, Business Development, Pre-Sales, and a Technical Account Manager. He excels at helping customers optimize their engineering and manufacturing processes using various technologies that directly correlates to their bottom line. He loves investigating how these emerging technologies (e.g. AI, ML, & Industry4.0) can help companies compete and grow.
Kevin is seeing that customers know about the “hot” topics like Digital Twin, IoT, and Big Data but don’t know where to begin or how to implement these radically different ways of doing business. This is where XPERIX can help achieve that next level of success or get passed by.
Kevin has a Bachelor of Engineering from Michigan Technological University, Houghton, MI and lives in the greater Detroit Area with his wife and two children.
When Kevin’s not in the office, you can find him out riding his motorcycle.
